How to Find a Deal on Gift Packaging

I am always in search of a bargain. I love to find that incredible pair of designer shoes for a fraction of the original price! Now with fuel pushing the $5.00 mark and groceries steadily going up, it is more important than ever to get the most bang for your buck! With that in mind, I want to let you in on some of my favorite ways to save money on packaging without sacrificing quality or beauty.

For real bargains, my first stop is always the – closeouts and specials category on the Nashville Wrap’s website. You never know what kind of good deal you might find.  This is a great way to get the jump on your holiday packaging or save some money on a resale gift bag.

Gorgeous ribbons were on the closeouts page too. Ribbons really add a luxurious touch to retail packaging. I appreciate the fact that the web site shows me how many of each item are left in stock so I can tell which ones I need to scoop up fast before they are gone forever! The specials section is another place to click on great buys!

Usually we do not put new Christmas packaging on Special this early in the year, but when the warehouse is full that does have a tendency to change things! See our great deals on Christmas Wrapping Paper! This won’t last forever so hurry and check this one out. Look how elegant some of these papers looks with the Simply Sheer red bow!

Do you use tissue in your bags or for wrapping? Have you tried our Color Tissue Paper in the 20” x 26” size? The quality is the same as the larger size but much less expensive and works great in all gift and shopping bag sizes. The 4 inches will rarely be a problem but the savings are noticeable!

For a different look you may want to try using printed cellophane over our solid colored tissue or over recycled white tissue – even better! Printed cellophane offers high style for low investment and is only pennies a foot in the 30 inch roll, the perfect size for layering with tissue.

As I said before, I love ribbons but I don’t like giving away my profits either. A good compromise is raffia (Wraphia). It comes in a zillion colors – matte and pearl – and requires little yardage or skill to create dramatic polished packages! Look how cute it looks on the kraft colored bag with floral cello layered over white tissue.

Did you know curling ribbon costs less than a penny a yard? That’s high impact for low cost. Our curling ribbon is available in solid colors, prints, with matte, holographic and metallic finishes. Save on a 250 yard roll, save even more on a 500 yard roll. I love using curling ribbons for a quick and easy but festive gift-wrap!

New Double faced satin Ribbon is a deal.

For those of you that need an upscale look we have imported a new line of double faced and single faces satin ribbon. This is a high thread count, 100% polyester ribbon that is top quality and now at a very low price. In fact it is the lowest price we have found anywhere for this level of quality.

Have you considered kraft paper shopping bags? The natural brown kraft are a really good buy; they are 100% recycled, come in multiple shapes and sizes and look great custom printed. If you must have color, consider the kraft shopping bags in colors. They are nearly as economical as the natural kraft, are available in our most popular sizes and several trendy colors, plus they too are now made from100% recycled paper.

Happy Bargain Shopping!
