Located just north of Nashville in Greenbrier, Tennessee, Simply Renee Sweets<\/strong> raises the bar for all other cookie businesses by decorating cookies that are almost<\/em> too pretty to eat. Renee is the \u201cQueen of Cookie Decorating\u201d in our book! From intricate designs and delicate personalization, every cookie is a true work of art. Edible art!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply Renee Sweets Instagram<\/a><\/strong> has over 13,000 followers who are delighted with each new design. She sells thousands of cookies, but her most popular occasions are new baby and birthday cookies. She says, \u201cBaby cookies are my favorite theme to design!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 There is also a huge cookie demand\nfor birthdays and holidays like Christmas and Valentine\u2019s Day. She\ndedicates the majority of December each year to meet the holiday demand. Businesses can even create custom cookies with their logo. Her cookies also make unforgettable housewarming and realtor\ngifts.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cookie Orders Started Rolling In!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Renee was inspired to start a cookie business after seeing a friend\u2019s Christmas cookies online. As\nshe improved her cookie decorating technique, more interest came and she\ndecided to sell a few for missions fundraising. People were wowed and orders\nstarted rolling in!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incredibly Renee has never taken baking or decorating\nclass. She owes much of her creativity to her mother who was a painter and\ncraft store owner. \u201cIt truly does take practice and time when you learn\nanything new, but with today\u2019s technology, all the information you need to\nlearn is literally at your fingertips.  I’m a HUGE believer in taking\nadvantage of it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using Social Media to Grow Her Business<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The incredible fact that Renee has only\nadvertised her cookies using Instagram and Facebook is a testament to her\nbusiness savvy. She has grown to the point where she has to make a decision\nabout expanding to a retail location or continuing in her home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renee\u2019s dream of having a retail location may be just around the\ncorner. She would be able to sell her sweets along with other products that\nsupport the cookie-decorating niche. In addition, she would also like to offer\ndecorating classes and parties to teach her skill and bring cookie-loving\npeople together for fun events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
