\"ANashville Wraps’ customer Stephanie Waring started feeling so sick it landed her in the hospital for days at a time. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Stephanie never considered her diet might be the problem, until her brother, who had recently started juicing, encouraged her to buy a juicer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having tried everything and \u201cat the end of her rope\u201d, she had nothing to lose. Stephanie started juicing and immediately began feeling better.\u00a0 She was amazed how a small change could make such a huge difference and and wanted to help others get healthy too.<\/p>\n

\"Juice-Nashville-Stephanie\"So with her husband Wes\u2019 blessing, she quit her corporate job with Mars, Inc. (the candy company) and together they started \u201cjuice. Nashville<\/strong>\u201d – the very first cold pressed juicery in Tennessee that summer of 2011. They sold their first bottle of juice and quickly sold out\u00a0at the Nashville Farmer\u2019s Market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their\u00a0mission was to bring the gift of health to every “body” with each bottle of their handcrafted, cold pressed juice. Right away got a lot of great feedback from customers on the various blends and quickly the demand increased for their juice. Customers wanted more availability so they added\u00a0<\/span>pick-up locations<\/span>\u00a0at like-minded businesses as well as <\/span>home and office delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year they had the opportunity to open storefront on Division Street in Nashville\u2019s popular Gulch area. Stephanie explains, \u201cAt first, we were apprehensive about the cost of build out, but when we saw the space, we knew our customers would love it and this would be the perfect place to open the first \u201cjuice. Nashville<\/strong>\u201d retail shop!\u201d<\/p>\n

\"TheThey launched a Kickstarter campaign\u00a0(video below) to help raise funds for the store. \u00a0With the help of 255 backers from across the country supporting their project, they opened their doors in July 2013. \u00a0Since 2009,\u00a0<\/span>Kickstarter has joined\u00a0<\/span>5.8 million<\/span>\u00a0people pledging over\u00a0<\/span>$1 billion with<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>57,000<\/span>\u00a0creative projects that needed funding.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stephanie says, \u201cIt was the best decision we have made \u2013 we absolutely love being a part of The Gulch! People here really love supporting all things local. The neighborhood highlights some of the best and brightest stars in the city.\u201d\u00a0 They recently opened a juice bar inside Hendersonville Produce \u2013 northeast of Nashville.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting a Healthy Food Revolution<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cWe have seen a dramatic increase in people wanting to embrace a healthier lifestyle. We are a part of a \u2018healthy food revolution\u2019 in Nashville. People are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Every day we have customers as far away as Kentucky and Alabama wanting to find balance, while finding easy ways to increase fruits and vegetables in their diet.<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to help Tennessee become known for being one of the healthiest states in the country,\u201d adds Stephanie.<\/p>\n

Stephanie’s Certainties for Entrepreneurs<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  3. Not everyone will like your business or your product.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    She says that if you are willing to accept these \u201ctruths\u201d then you have conquered 90% of the battle. We are so grateful for Stephanie and Wes. They feel honored to be sharing this business together with their daughter and the close relationships they have with their customers and creating new blends and living their \u201cdestiny\u201d.
