Try this easy necktie idea for dressing up a gift for Father’s Day (or any other occasion that calls for a masculine gift). It works best on a rectangular or tall gift. For the necktie, we’ve used our double face ribbon<\/a>, but any of our great ribbon will work. Our Ticking Stripe<\/a> gift wrap makes a great backdrop, but many of our classic designs<\/a> work well, too.<\/p>\n

You may already be a pro at tying a necktie; if not, the video below shows one way to do it. Wait until you finish tying your tie to cut the ends into a “V” shape – that way the edges won’t fray. Pro tip: Use very sharp scissors meant for fabric. <\/p>\n
