Nashville Wraps helped with gift packaging for some local and national non-profit organizations. We wanted to highlight a couple of these charitable groups, not to brag on ourselves, but to spread the word about the great works they are doing.<\/p>\n<p>We were honored to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.family-to-family.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Family-to-Family<\/a>, a non-profit national hunger relief organization. They link American families who have &#8220;more&#8221; with families needing help in some of America\u2019s poorest communities, providing boxes of groceries to feed seven meals each month.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10202 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-1024x970.jpg\" alt=\"Family to Family 1\" width=\"980\" height=\"928\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-1024x970.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-300x284.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-768x727.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-24x24.jpg 24w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-36x34.jpg 36w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1-48x45.jpg 48w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Family-to-Family-1.jpg 1622w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/>When Hurricane Sandy hit they reached out to those communities and helped sponsor more than 700 families or individuals including sending 3,500 Thanksgiving meals \u201cin a box\u201d to those areas.<\/p>\n<p>Their latest effort was to provide toys to kids affected by Sandy, and Nashville Wraps was happy to help with gift wrap and bows. Parents (pictured above) were able to come in and shop for their kids. Pictured in the larger photo above is the beautiful display of toys delivered to a school in Broad Channel, NY, a neighborhood in Queens which sustained widespread flooding and power outages after Sandy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The abundant tears of joy, the looks of relief, and seeing parents enjoying some Christmas Spirit was a deeply moving experience,&#8221; explained one of the helpers at the event. &#8220;Every parent received toys for their children.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10205 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2.jpg\" alt=\"4-H 2\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2-24x18.jpg 24w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2-36x27.jpg 36w, https:\/\/www.nashvillewraps.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/4-H-2-48x36.jpg 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>This year, 18 kids in Sumner County&#8217;s 4-H program got together for its Clover Tree project, wrapping presents for 52 kids in Sumner county (also home to Nashville Wraps). 4-H is a youth development program for the\u00a0University of Tennessee Extension and has more than 300,000 young people involved statewide.<\/p>\n<p>We were happy to help these great kids reach out to the less fortunate in our community.
