Nashville Wraps Customers Share Their Stories of Recent Hurricanes

Key West Key Lime Pie Co HurricaneMillions of Americans have been greatly affected by the recent hurricanes. From the loss of electricity, flooding, property damage and loss of life, the damage has been devastating. Nashville Wraps cares about our customers, and we want to share your stories about how these disasters have affected your businesses and homes.

Several of our customers have already reported damage or have  been involved in the recovery efforts. The Key West Lime Pie Company still does not know the extent of their store’s damage. Also in Key West, Kermit’s Key Lime Pie Shoppe says, “Because the island of Key West is still under mandatory evacuation, we have no idea what we’re returning to, since cell service, internet, electricity, and water have been cut off since 11 AM Sunday. That being said, our warehouse and manufacturing kitchen in Central Florida are up and running after a one-day Irma delay. We’re giving 20% of our online sales this week to local Key West disaster relief. Our island WILL return to its magical self again soon!! Thanks, Nashville Wraps!”

“We are tough. We are Floridian. We will survive.”

Our customer Naples Soap Company has 11 stores throughout Florida. Their Tin City location is closed and being repaired. They have been unable to assess the damage at their Key West store. CEO Deanna Wallin offers her gratitude, “Thank you all who have reached out with prayers and kind offers during this most stressful time. Our Soap Squad were Rock Stars and prepped way in advance. They safely had time to evacuate or prepare their homes and families and then proceeded to assist others as our Squad values shined through. Thank you all so much for the love and support as all of us at NSC rebuild our personal and business assets. We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of kindness and we are forever grateful. We are Floridian. We are tough. We will survive.”

Rising Above the Devastation

Nashville Wraps customer’s Sally Marco owns Gratitude in Port Aransas, Texas. Her city is located on the Gulf Coast near Corpus Christi and was one of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey. Thankfully, her business only suffered minor damage while many of her neighbors were not so lucky. Her business name aptly explains how she feels – gratitude. In spite of her business being spared, her home has roof and window damage along with ceilings falling in. But Sally remains hopeful and optimistic.

Neighbor Helping Neighbor

Dannelle Sherwood of Design It Yourself Gift Baskets in Houston provided her shop as a facility for vetting lost dogs and cats. Houston’s K-911 Rescue explains, “We were able to set up our rescue headquarters there. She provided water and drinks as well as tons of food for the volunteers while they located dogs out on the south side. Volunteers were able to bring them to Dannelle’s warehouse to keep them safe. We were able to bring a majority of those dogs into our program. We absolutely cannot thank her enough!”

Bath & body company Enfusia in The Woodlands, Texas area was contacted by area churches after Hurricane Harvey. They were able to send mud out supplies to assist in the cleanup efforts.

Finally, our customer Andrea Bernal, owner of Ali’s Sweet Treats in Miami, Florida, remains closed because of Irma. Ironically, she donated 100% of the proceeds from their “Harvey Dozen” earlier this month to victims in Texas.
As Andrea’s store awaits reopening, her latest Facebook post says it all.

Our thoughts and prayers continue with all our customers affected by these recent natural disasters. Please share your story in the comments below.
