A Closer Look at Our Colorful Coffee Bags

ColorCoffeeBagsWe’re always on the hunt for new products to help make your packaging look beautiful, and we’ve recently expanded our coffee bag offerings to include Color Tin Tie Coffee Bags.  In bold, holiday-perfect colors, plus metallic gold and black, these great bags are available in two sizes, as well as in packs of 100 or 500. They also just happen to be on sale for September.

These bags are made in the USA and meet FDA requirements for direct food contact, thanks to their laminated clear poly liners, so they’re perfect for cookies, popcorn and other treats. Many soap makers use them for powdered soap or other powdered bath products. Even potpourri or dried lavender would be fine in them, since the poly liners will help keep the scents fresh.

Creating distinctive packaging with these bags is a snap. You might choose one signature color, like cheery red. Once you’ve filled the bag with your product and closed it via the handy tin ties, try adding some grosgrain ribbon (shown above, left). Cut the ends into a “V” (just fold the end of the ribbon in half lengthwise and cut at an angle, so that when you open the fold you have a V-cut). You can attach the ribbon to the bags with your own custom labels (above, left). Our metallic gold or silver stretch loops also look great on these bags (see the black bag, above, center) – just choose one of the larger sizes.

For a more simple approach, try colorful washi tape to seal your bags (you can find washi tape at your local craft store). The metallic gold bags look great with a pop of pastel color, such as the yellow & pink washi tape I used (above). I thought the ends of the tape looked especially cute cut into the same zig-zag pattern as the tape.

And don’t forget about our classic white and kraft coffee bags, also made in the USA – shown above (right). For a more elegant look, I love the idea of tying up the bag with bakers twine, then using a wax seal to hold the ends in place. This would make an attention-getting option for wedding favor packaging.

Attach one of our Gift Cards, shown (above, right) with a metal clip, to turn one of these coffee bags into an extra-special gift.
