“Sweet Wishes Granted Daily” at the Sweet Tooth Fairy

Sweet Tooth Fairy

Megan Faulkner Brown’s earliest memories were of helping her mom make cookies. She learned how to bake from her mother and grandmother and realized that a cookie can bring a smile to any face. In college she majored in Family Life & Home Economics at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Armed with her knowledge of cooking and her father’s entrepreneurial spirit, Megan opened her first bakery Sweet Tooth Fairy in Provo in 2009. She now has 11 stores and counting across the Rocky Mountain area. Together, these stores sell an average of 6,123 cupcakes every day!

In 2009 Megan’s signature Cakebites™ were featured in Nashville Wraps’ 2-piece candy boxes on Rachel Ray’s “Snack of the Day”. See video from that first episode here and an exciting follow-up here. She has also appeared on QVC and the Gayle King Show.

This year Megan decided to submit a video to appear on The Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars”. She was chosen for an episode, called “Rock of Ages,” to promote Tom Cruise’s movie back in April.

She and her lead baker, Hilary Cavanaugh, beat the competition to take home the $10,000 grand prize! You can see the entire episode here. The prize-winning cupcakes included the creative flavors of Cranberry Wine and Brie, Sweet Potato Pie, Creme Brulee and even Nutella Crepe. Winning Cupcake Wars really helped her business by introducing her cupcakes to a brand new group of customers.

The Sweet Tooth Fairy uses our Bakery Boxes, and customers love them. Their 1-piece design allows them to be stored flat. They are made in the USA from 100% recycled paper and come in white, kraft, chocolate and pink colors with natural kraft interiors.

Because she has such great images of her product, social media plays the biggest role in her advertising. Megan explains, “These days, everyone is on their smart phone, tweeting or updating their status. So it has been very beneficial for us to utilize these outlets to reach our customers.” Megan has also launched the Bake a Difference initiative, which actively supports causes that seek to improve and inspire communities.

Prior to embarking on her baking career as Founder & CVO (Chief Visionary Officer) for Sweet Tooth Fairy, Megan was a staff member for former U.S. Representative Chris Cannon for nine years. However, her favorite job is being the wife of Ethan Brown and the proud mother of four children, who serve as the company’s executive taste testers.

What Megan enjoys most about her work: “Being part of a business and an industry that is so meaningful to me, being part of something way bigger than me and working with others to achieve a common goal — which is ultimately delivering happiness and making lasting memories.”

That is why the Sweet Tooth Fairy promises “Sweet Wishes Granted Daily”. Watch this beautiful video:
